Biography
Mary was born in 1845 in Curdridge, Hampshire, England the daughter of Henry William Mears and Mary Ann Aslett [1].. She was baptised on 25 January 1846 in Curdridge.[2] In the 1861 census Mary (age 15), Scholar, was the unmarried daughter of Henry W Mears on Oatlands Lane, Bishops Waltham, Droxford, Hampshire, England.[3]
