Laura (Meares) Lowe is part of a Bahamian family.

Biography

The town of Nassau is on the island of New Providence in The Bahamas. However, none of the sources found to date confirm that Laura was born on New Providence. Some censuses record her birthplace as Nassau; others as Bahamas. Other members of her natal family indicate their home was actually on Green Turtle Cay. For now, Dorothy's birth location is being set to Bahamas until further research pinpoints a more definite location.
