Biography
Henry Edgar was born in the small village of Newton, Derbyshire in 1893. Like his father and brothers he was a coal miner, first at Tibshelf colliery and after its closure in 1934 he moved to Ollerton colliery in Nottinghamshire. Henry married Ellen Pearce in 1916, he died about November 1975.
