Biography
Hilda Jane Meads was born at Farnborough, Hampshire on 22 September 1901. [1] Her birth was registered in Hartley Wintney registration district during the final quarter of 1901.[2]
On 2 April 1911, Hilda was living at Avenue Farm, Sycamore Road, Farnborough with her widowed father and siblings.
Hilda qualified as a nurse.
Hilda married Henry Humphrey England on 9 February 1927 at Pewsey, Wiltshire.
Henry was 'Master of a Public Assistance Institution' at St Margaret's Hospital, Epping in September 1939. Hilda was also a nurse there. [3]
They later lived at 13 Lower Bury Lane, Epping, Essex.
Hilda died on 24 September 1992.
