Hi!

Years ago you added a whole lot of children to the Swedish profile Bergman-555. Unfortunately their LNAB "Carlsson_or_Bergman-xx" are not in line with the current standards within the Swedish Project.

As you are still the manager; could you change their LNAB to either of the surnames? If the sources does not disagree, I'd suggest "Bergman" as it seems to have been inherited for at least one earlier generation.

Thanks in advance,

Helena

I believe my grandmothers name was Jemima and that she was called Mima. I'm not sure about her middle name, her maiden name was Mellis.

Ron --

Thanks for the note about Anne Weir. I'm glad that helped to clear up a problem. :-)

Happy Holidays!

Hi

I think you should change the privacy of your profile => it means it's easier to see how you relate to the Bergman people

Hi Ron,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi Ron,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! This certification requires participation in a project related to the profiles you wish to edit. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

Check out our Italian Roots Project, as well as the Sweden Project and UK Project. I know you'll find something interesting in one of these!

Let me know! I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders. Welcome aboard!

Hi Ron,

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a confirmed member of the WikiTree community.

As you add family profiles, you can use the green tabs near the top of each profile to find out what info will be visible to others - just toggle between private and public views.

If you need help, ask a question in our G2G forum: http://www.wikitree.com/g2g. Most WikiTree members are eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist. If you need additional help using WikiTree, our Mentors Project is a great group of volunteers who will be glad to assist you.

Check out our Question of the Week: What's your favorite family heirloom?
