Harriet Emily McMurchy was born November 6, 1892 at Lot 23, Concession 9, Collingwood Township, Gery, Ontario, Canada one of the daughters of John M McMurchy and Emma (Parkinson) McMurchy. She married Andrew Lloyd Johnston on October 20, 1920 in Thornbury, Grey, Ontario, Canada. She died February 19, 1973 in Errinrung Nursing Home, Thornbury, The Blue Mountains, Grey, Ontario, Canada. She is buried in the Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery, The Blue Mountains, Grey County, Ontario, Canada.
