Before 1840, Mary Anne MCMULLEN, daughter of James MCMULLEN, a farmer, was born likely in Ireland.^[1][2]

On March 27, 1860, Mary Anne of full age, a spinster, and Thomas CARSON of full age, a bachelor and farmer, were married in Cleenish Parish Church of Ireland, Cleenish Parish, Bellanaleck, County Fermanagh, Ireland. Mary Anne was residing in Ross, Cleenish Parish and Thomas was residing in Clontymullan, Killesher Parish, County Fermanagh. The witnesses were William MCMULLEN and William SMITH.^[3][2]
