Biography
Mabel was born in Coryell County to the late Jess and Annie McLaughlin. She was reared and attended school at Ft. Gates, Caufield and Gatesville. She married Alvin R. Taylor in Jonesboro on Jan. 2, 1946, and they made their home in Coryell County all their lives. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Gatesville.
