Hi Karen, check out Ralph's profile now. I went in and cleaned it up a bit and added inline citations. Inline citations are really important to use! When you are writing your biographies and you have a source, add the source by making sure your cursor is in the right place (next to the place where the citation should go), then click the C button at the top of the biography box. That will auto-format the citation for you! Why don't you give it a try? Let me know how it goes and if you need any help.
First things first: what is your #1 place for resources? Whenever we create a new profile or add new information to one, we need to be sure to add a concrete source. Have you had any experience with FamilySearch? That is always a great place to start. Let's try going into your grandparents and great grandparents, to see what kind of sources you can find. Birth certificates, marriage certificates, census records; these are all very good sources! PS, I can't see your family tree so I will send you a trusted list request for the profiles. We can get started once I have a better idea of who I'm looking at!
Great! Let's get started!! No worries about taking some extra time to understand things - WikiTree can be confusing, and even MORE confusing to do things the right way! We all have to ask for help sometimes! I'll take a look at your contributions and find a good place to start. :D
Just wanted to check in and see if you had gotten a chance to read the Sourcing Style guide I sent to you. Let's work on sourcing your existing profiles before creating any more. I'm here to help, so let me know when you're ready to get started! :D
