Alexander McGuffin was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
Alexander Thorburn McGuffin was born on January 16, 1881 in Gunning, Colony of New South Wales, son of Richard McGuffin (1839–1919) and Adelaide Scott (1837–1923).[1]
Alexander (39) married Lillian Gladys Allen (22) (born on December 1, 1898 in Castle Hill, Colony of New South Wales; daughter of Edmund Ambrose Allen and Elsie Jane Cusbert) on December 11, 1920 in Hornsby, New South Wales.[2] Their children were:
- Ernest Thorburn McGuffin (1921–2007)
- Elsie Adelaide McGuffin (1926–2011)
Alexander died on August 11, 1945 in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia, aged 64.[3] He was buried in Rookwood General Cemetery, Rookwood, Cumberland Council, New South Wales.[4]
