Hello John. I have a great grandfather named John Magill (Magill-530) who immigrated in 1874 and his fathers name was Hugh (Mafill-532) (b. 1839 in Banbridge, Down, Ireland) who also immigrated in 1874 with his family. But that is as far as I can get so far. Perhaps your Hugh Magill (Mcgill) and my Hugh Magill will someday have a connection. Lots of John and Hugh Magills it appears.
