Catherine McENTEGART was born about 1863 and was christened on 19 January 1863 in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland^[1]. Her parents were John McENTEGART and Mary BYRNE.

The steamer, Jumna set sail from London, England on the 1 March 1890 with the McENTEGART sisters, Kate (age 25) and Lizzie (17) from County Louth, Ireland, among the passengers and arrived at Brisbane, Colony of Queensland on 2 May 1890^[2][3][4]

Kate and her sister, Elizabeth arrived in Colony of Queensland on 2 May 1890.

James NAUGHTON and Catherine McENTEGART were married in 1899 in Colony of Victoria^[5]
