He was born on 31 Aug 1903 in the Carolinas, USA and was the son of Lilly Amelia (Blackwelder, 1875–1964) and Henry Antine McCullough, Sr. (1865–1958).

Cameron, SC - Services for the Rev. Paul Gerberding McCullough, 92, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church, with burial in the Memorial Park Cemetery of Orangeburg. Memorials may be made to Newberry College, Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary or the church. Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg is in charge.
The Rev. McCullough died Friday, Oct. 6, 1995. Born in Cameron, he was a son of the late Rev. Henry Antine and Lilly (Blackwelder) McCullough. He was graduated from Newberry College and Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and retired as a Lutheran pastor. He was the former editor of the Florida Lutheran and Alabama Lutheran, former chairman of S.C. Synodical History Committee and was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a son, Henry McCullough of Cameron; a daughter, Juanita Gantt of Columbia; brothers, the Rev. H.A. McCullough Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C., and the Rev. John McCullough of Aiken; and four grandchildren. [3]
