McCullough-5132 and McCullough-1588 appear to represent the same person because: Birth date and place is the same. The profile managers should agree to merge and correct discrepancies with sources

John McCulloch/McCullough (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McCulloch-756 as of the date of this comment) was among the first judges of the US. He issued several copies of his marriage in which he used four different variations of the spelling of his last name. All four are basically legally his last name as he attests. There isn't then necessarily a singular unique true surname.

This fact confuses many of the genealogies that I have seen so far pertaining to this family. Where people want to split them into four or more distinctly different families based on last name spelling.

For the proposed merge between McColloch-8 and McCullough-2042, what birth year do we keep?

Both profiles are undersourced, so do we have some sources we could add to disambiguate and substantiate the profiles?
