Margaret was born about 1897. She is the daughter of Neil McCallum and Janet Anderson Dods. She accompanied her mother after Rev. Neil McCallum passed away in 1927.
FAREWELL PARTY. Miss Margaret McCallum, who is well known and very popular in tennis circles in Christchurch, where she has been a valued member of the Avonside and United Clubs for some years, is leaving next week, with her mother, for a visit to Britain and Europe. Yesterday afternoon, in a private reception-room at Ballantynes, a pleasant party was given in her honour, all the guests being tennis players with whom she had been associated for some time.[1]
Mrs Neil McCallum and her daughter, Miss Margaret McCallum (Cashmere Hills), who are on an extended visit to Great Britain, are now visiting Scotland. They have decided to postpone their return to New Zealand until next year.[2]
Mr N. B. McCallum left this morning for Wellington, to meet his mother and sister, Mrs J. A. McCallum, and Margaret, who are returning to the Dominion, after an absence of three years in Great Britain and the Continent.[3]

Miss Margaret McCallum (formerly of Cashmere Hills) who, for the last 11 years, has been living in Britain, is returning to New Zealand by the Rimutaka, due in Wellington on Tuesday. She is expected in Christchurch soon after her return. Miss McCallum was well known amongst tennis players and golfers in Christchurch.[4]
