Biography
George C. McAlister, son of William Crawford McAlister & Mary/Polly Webb, was born 10 February 1824 in Maury County, Tennessee.
He was married 20 October 1846 to Mary Ann Berryhill in Weakley County, Tennessee.[1]
He was married 15 October 1857 to Elizabeth Tomlinson in Pope County, Arkansas.[2] He married her again in 1863, for an unknown reason.[3]
According to family legend, he died about 1864 near Pope County, Arkansas. He was killed by bushwhackers.
