Edward Webster, son of Margaret Mayman, was baptised on 27 November 1859 in Brompton by Sawdon, Yorkshire (North Riding), England.[1]
In the 1871 census Webster (age 11), Scholar, was the grandson of John Mayman on High Street, Snainton, Scarborough, Yorkshire & Yorkshire (North Riding), England.[2]

Edward (age 25) married Mary Estill (age 31), child of John Cross, on 21 May 1883 in Scarborough, St Mary, Yorkshire (East Riding), England.[3] The newspaper marriage announcement in The Yorkshire Gazette states that he was a tea merchant.[4]
He died on 25 April 1938 and his estate passed probate on 26 May 1938 in London.[5]
