Barb was raised/reared in small town Mississippi, growing up as daughter to The Greatest Generation, mother mostly stayed at home raising her LARGE family, Father a WWII Navy Veteran and self employed shop keeper. Simpler Times, indeed ! Many siblings contributed to a full childhood, and they also have contributed many next generation offspsring, and NEXT generation as well! There are currently four generations of the family on the Earth, since parents are both gone "to their Reward, whatEVER it may Be" as dear old Daddy would have said ! Trying to record and research as much family history as possible, to leave to the next generations ! SO much lost by not listening and recording those that went before !
Featured Auto Racers: Barb is 24 degrees from Jack Brabham, 26 degrees from Rudolf Caracciola, 18 degrees from Louis Chevrolet, 17 degrees from Dale Earnhardt, 34 degrees from Juan Manuel Fangio, 20 degrees from Betty Haig, 25 degrees from Arie Luyendyk, 22 degrees from Bruce McLaren, 19 degrees from Wendell Scott, 23 degrees from Kat Teasdale, 18 degrees from Dick Trickle and 22 degrees from Maurice Trintignant on our single family tree. I try to gather all the info I can find on Kilgroe, Kilgore, Kilgo, Killgore and Kilgour. I file all the info and try to prove or disprove lineages. Would like to converse with you and exchange information. Please contact me at [email address removed]
I wrote to you in May about the restructuring of the Ireland Project. I dont seem to have received a reply. In the circumstance I presume you no longer wish to be a member of the Ireland Project. Well be sorry to lose you, but unless I hear from you by the end of July I will delete the active Project member badge from your profile.
Thanks for all the previous contributions you have made to the Ireland Project.

The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details. The Teams are :-
? Can you let me know if youd like to stay on in the new project and which team(s) youd like to join. Please also let me know your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the projects Google Group or confirm you are already a member of the google group.
Many thanks,
Maria
Ive added the Irish Roots Project badge to your profile. If you click on the badge it will take you to the full list of our wonderful members. Click on Irish Roots Project will take you to the first page of the project. I've added your good self to the member interest page. Here you can let others know which counties or names you are researching etc.
Thanks for joining the project and good luck with your research.
Maria
Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a Pre-1700 Project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Collaboration is essential because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants.
It looks like Irish Roots leaders are Maria Maxwell and Leigh Murrain and US Southern Colonies Project leader Paula J fit your contributions
After joining the projects, add project tags to your page to receive project updates.
Questions? Just ask! I'm happy to help! :-)
