Biography
Simon was born on 14 Sep 1872 and baptized in Church Point, Louisiana. He is the son of Harvey Matte and Mirante Leblen (Lebleu?). [1]
He married Louisa Richard, the daughter of Lastie Richard and Josephine Lejeune, on 20 Dec 1888 in Church Point, Louisiana. [2]
He died in 1941 and was buried in the Old Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Church Point, Louisiana. [3]
