and another update - This profile is now back to Margred (had been Jane) and Mathew-59 went from Margred to Jane.

and an update on Jane/Margred. In developing John Butler's profile (Butler-9011), it becomes clear that Jane and Margred are not the same person. Margred m Morgan is the sister of Jane m Thomas Butler ("NN" - no name - in the Bartrum charts).

Mathew-59 and Mathew-15 appear to represent the same person because: I think that Jane is a nickname for Margred - Richardson calls Margred, dau. of Dafydd Mathew, Knt., the 2nd wife of Morgan ap Jenkin. Bartrum also shows Margred as Morgan's 2nd wife (and does not show a Jane either as another wife of Morgan or a dau. or Dafydd). Since these profiles both have b 1440 to the same parents & m the same man, I believe they're intended to represent the same person - Margred, 2nd wife of Morgan (who maybe was called Jane?)
