Biography

John Henry Master was christened 07 August 1831 at St Peter's Church Burnley, Lancashire England. He was the son of Venerable Robert Mosley Master and Frances Mary Smith. ^[1] He was educated at East India College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England. John Henry Master married Gertrude Emma Begbie, daughter of Alfred William Begbie and Margaret Watt. ^[2] John was in the Honourable East India Company Service. His occupation was with the Civil Service in Madras, India. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) After 1875 he lived at Montrose House, Petersham, Surrey, England. ^[3]

John Henry Master died in January 1919. ^[4]
