Biography
Louis married Bastienne Coutande sometime before 1643, the year his son pioneer Pierre Martin was was born. [1] There is no evidence he came to New France.
Research Notes:
According to his Five A Grave profile, he died in France in 1713, aged 107-108, and his wife, Sebastienne "Bastienne" (Coutande) Martin also lived to be over 100, which seems dubious.[2]
