Biography

Joseph was born in 1731. He was the son of John Marsh and Martha Hartshorn. ^[1]

He married Deborah Staples in 1759. ^[2][3]

Sergeant Joseph Marsh served with 4th Regiment, Bristol County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Joseph Marsh served as Sergeant in Captain John Tyler’s Tyler-5280 4th Bristol Company, Colonel Joseph Reed’s Regiment, which was raised in Menden, Massachusetts. ^[4][5]

As of 1790 they were living in Windsor County, Vermont. ^[6][7][8]

Joseph passed away in 1823.
