Biography

Charles Montrose Milbourne Marsh was born in 1890 in St Leonards, New South Wales (Australia). He was the fourth son of George Milbourne Marsh and Amy North. [1][2]
Charles Marsh is an Anzac who served in World War One.

On 29th November 1916 Charles was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Australian Imperial Force. Allocated to the 16th General Service Reinforcements, he would be serving overseas during the catastrophic First World War. [3]

Before heading overseas, Charles married Alleyne Tucker in 1917 in St Leonards, New South Wales. [4] Their first child, John, was born in the October.

Charles returned to Australia 12th July 1919.

Charles also served in World War II (service number N318379).[5]

Charles passed away, aged about 75 years, in 1965 in St Leonards, New South Wales. [6]
