Evelyn was born in 1883. Her mother was Annie Bradshaw.
She was stewardess and nurse for First Class passengers with the White Star Line and was on the Titanic. She got into Lifeboat 16 nursing a baby and helped row the lifeboat. They were rescued by the Carpathia.
She married William Abel James in 1912.[1]
She died in 1938.[2]
DEATH NOTICE. JAMES.—August 30, 1938, Evelyn, the dearly beloved wife of Dr. Abel James, of 85 Curlewis Street, Bondi, aged 54 years.
