Bride In Lace And Net Gown

The marriage of Phyllis, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. W. Brown, Railway Place, Flemington, and Corporal Jack Henry Marr, R.A.A.F., only son of Mr and Mrs H. W. J. Marr, Armidale, New South Wales, will be celebrated late this afternoon at the Presbyterian Church, Flemington, by the Rev. A. A. McKenzie. THE bride, who will be given away by her father, will wear a gown of net and lace over satin, and a short tulle veil. She will carry a bouquet of tree lily-of-the-valley. Mrs C. Weekes will be her sister's matron of honor, and Miss Agnes Stevenson bridesmaid. The bridegroom will be supported by Mr William Hemphill as best man and Mr Charles Weekes groomsman. — Athol Shmith.

MARR-BROWN

At the Flemington Presbyterian Church on Saturday evening the wedding was celebrated of Phyllis May Brown, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Brown of Railway pl., Flemington and Corporal Jack Henry Marr, R.A.A.F., only child of Mr. H. W. J. Marr of Dangar st., Armidale (N.S.W.). Rev. A. A. Mackenzie officiated.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of lace and net over satin. A halo of satin and lace held her tulle veil in place and she carried lilies. Mrs. C. W. Weekes was matron of honour and Miss Agnes Stevenson was bridesmaid. They wore flocks of sunset net over taffeta. Mr William Hemphill was best man and Mr C. Weekes was groomsman. A dinner party was held at Menzies Hotel.
