Biography
John Baptisto Marengo was born in 1813 in Mondovì, Cuneo, Piedmont, Italy, the son of Mary and John Marengo.
He married Mary Ann Howley in 1858 in Victoria, Australia.[1] Their children were:[2]
- Claria Marengo (1860–1861)
- Francis John Marengo (1861–1948)
- Lavinia Marengo (1865–1953)
- Marinette Marengo (1883–1886)
John died on 14 May 1897 in Chiltern, Victoria. His remains were buried at the Chiltern Cemetery.[2]
