John Mansfield
- He was possibly born in 1642, being baptised at West Wratting, Cambridgeshire as "John Manfield" he son of John Manfield and Joane Sparrow (see research note). [1]
- John married Dorothy Pickeram (or Pickering) on November 3, 1671 at All Saints Church in Great Thurlow, Suffolk, England.[2] Together they had the following children, all baptised at West Wickham in Cambridgeshire:

- Dorothy Mansfield (1676– )
- Jone Mansfield (1677– )
- Ann Mansfield (1679– )

Research Notes
- It is possible that John Mansfield who married Dorothy Pickering at Great Thurlow, Suffolk is the John Manfield baptised to John and Joan at West Wratting, Cambridgeshire in 1642. John junior did name one of his daughters Joan. However the West Wratting family fairly consistently spell their name Manfield rather than Mansfield. Westley Waterless is about 2 1/2 miles from West Wickham, Cambridgeshire.
