Biography

William was born in 1825[1] . He was the son of Joseph Mansfield and Abi Hartwell.


On 27 Feb 1851 William married Marcia Bagley in Dracut, Massachusetts[2]

They had 6 children and 3 of them grew to adulthood

He was a farmer and a person who owned his own farm, developing a better tree tomato. He has listed himself as a farmer a capitalist and an owner of land.

He lived primarily in Johnson Creek, Jefferson, Wisconsin

His wife passed away after the 1910 census


He passed away in 1917 at the age of 92 [3] Said to have been buried in Johnson Creek, unable to find.
