Matilda Mansfield was born in Fareham, Hampshire, England.

Matilda was baptised on 4 July 1822 at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Fareham, Hampshire, England.[1]
The 1841 England and Wales Census shows Matilda living with her parents and brother Frederick in Maylands, Fareham, Hampshire, England.[2] She was 18 years old.
In 1845, Matilda married James Edwin Mansfield (same last name). The marriage was registered in Southampton, Hampshire, England.
The 1851 England and Wales Census shows the couple and three children living with Matilda's parents in Hambledon, Hampshire, England.[3] Matilda was 28 years old.
Matilda passed away in 1857 in Droxford, Hampshire, England.[4] She was 35 years old.
