Biography
Ezekiel Mann was born around 1760. He was the son of Page Mann and Patience Unknown. As of 1782 and 1803, documents show that he lived in Charlotte County, VA. He moved from Virginia to York, SC and was there during the 1820 and 1830 census. He passed away after 1830, location unknown.
Their 2 known children were Joel H Mann, who married Nancy Burns, and Elizabeth Mann, who married William H Walker in Charlotte County, VA. There could have been other children.
Y-DNA (male DNA) has confirmed Ezekiel Mann's link to the family of Robert and Isabelle Griffin Mann of Henrico County in southern Virginia. As of 2022, ALL males in America from this family, who share Mann Y-DNA, descend from this Robert Mann. It is an uncommon Y-DNA hapliogroup among males with the Mann surname.
