Marcelle was born in January 1, 1917 in Beaumont, Alberta. She was the daughter of Adelard Maltais and Alice Gobeil. [1]
Marcelle married Edouard Goudreau, son of Eugene Goudreau and Marie Louise Lambert, November 24, 1942.[1]
Marcelle and Edouard had 8 children:
- Raymond, born April 4, 1944, married Irene Beaudoin, April 12, 1975
- Madeleine, born April 7, 1947, married Denis Pylypchan October 7, 1972
- Andre, born June 24, 1948
- Pauline, born July 5, 1951, married John Braun, June 24, 1981

- Helene, born January 25, 1957, married Myles Dalmer, June 10, 1978
- Charles, born February 8, 1959
