Biography
SIMMONS, ETHEL E., 94, of Pembroke, Mass., a former and seasonal resident of Gulfport, died Monday (March 5, 2001) at Pasadena Manor. Born in Hingham, Mass., she came here in 1972 from Marshfield, Mass., and moved to Pembroke in 1994. She had been a seasonal resident since then. She was a parishioner of Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and was a member of the Hobbies Club of St. Petersburg. Survivors include a daughter, Lois H. Crossley, Pembroke; a son, Edgar M., Bradford, N.H.; a sister, Helen Doroni, Bridgewater, Mass.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and a nephew. Gulfport Memorial Funeral Home.
