Marie Philomène Malenfant was born on 2 Oct 1844 and baptized the next day in Van Buren, Maine, the daughter of Joseph Malenfant and Basilice Madore.^[1]

Philomène married Philippe Babineau on 13 Jul 1869 in Shediac.^[2] Witnesses were Samuel Thibodeau and Marie Melanfant.

In the 1871 census Philomine, age 26, was in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick.^[3]

In the 1881 census Philomene, age 36, was in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick.^[4]

In the 1901 census Philome, age 56, was the head of household in Moncton (City), Westmorland, New Brunswick.^[5] Her date of birth was given as 4 Nov 1844.

She died on 18 Apr 1920 in Moncton.^[6]
