Biography

Johannes Hermanus Bosch was born on 13 April 1869^[1] in Cradock in the Cape Colony.^[2] He was the son of Izaak Jacobus Malan and Johanna Maria Bosch.^[1]

He was baptised on 25 April 1869 in the Dutch Reformed Church of Somerset East in Somerset East.^[1]

On 18 October 1898 he married Martha Aletta Sophia Kotze in the Dutch Reformed Church of Bethlehem in Bethlehem.^[3]

He farmed on Pilanshoek in the Bethlehem district.^[2]

Johannes died on 3 April 1919 at Pilanshoek at the age of 40.^[2]
