Biography
Dr. George W. Magruder was the son of Dr. William Wilson Magruder and Mary Susan Williams. George was a member of the Virginia Militia during the Civil War. On January 9, 1862, he married Kate Powell. In 1889 they moved from Virginia to Fort Worth, Texas, where he died in 1891.
