Biography

Hector was the son of Duncan McIntosh and Mary Mckenzie and was born on 29 June 1857 in Inverness, Inverness, Scotland.^[1]

In the 1861 census Hector (age 3) was the son of Duncan Macintosh at 24, Inverness, Inverness.^[2]

Hector has a different occupation in every census, when in 1881 he was 23 he was a at home and (the transcription reads) a practical engineer ^[3]

Hector married Isabella Mackay in 1886 in Glasgow^[4]

In the 1891 census Hector (age 34), Traveller (Ironmonger), he , Isabella the two childeren were living at 63 King Street, Inverness, Inverness.^[5]

By 1901 thier thiry child was born and the Hectore was a Merchant and preserve Manufacturer , the family now living in Ness Walk Inverness Hector is now 44.^[6]

At his death in 1927 Hector's occupation is described as a Potters agent .^[7]
