William Munro Mackay, son of John MacKay and Marion Munro, was born on September 24, 1860, in East Nissouri Township. He married Margaret (Maggie) McKellar on February 6, 1895, in Woodstock, Ontario. He and Maggie raised their family on the Mackay farm, lot 5, concession 13, in E. Nissouri. He died 15 Oct 1946 at East Zorra, Oxford, Ontario, Canada
