Helen Clark Macintosh was born 18 August 1865 in Elgin Burgh, Moray, Scotland. ^{[1] [2]}

In 1881, she was a cloth finisher in Elgin.^[3] In 1891, she was a domestic general servant. ^[4]

She died in September of 1924 in Mortlach, Dufftown. ^[5]

Comments from a descendant: Helen Macintosh was my great grandmother. She was the common law wife of George Brown. They had 3 children twins (George and Martha) and Frank. Frank was my grandfather. I know that Martha and her husband emigrated to Canada. I also know that Helen Macintosh had a illegimate child before she met George Brown and I was told this was to the man she worked for (but can’t corroborate that) the child was brought up Joanna Pozzi who didn’t appear to be in your timeline who was Helen’s sister.
