Hi, Michael.
I'm looking for family information for my great grandfather William Bell Davidson (1854-1906 / Scotland-Indian Territory) and saw you linked to a Thomas Bell Davidson (if I'm understanding what I saw correctly) who had a son Robert and Wiki Tree had found no familial line. I don't know if you're in that line but I ran a match with your kit to my Uncle LJ Davidson's and there was a small match:
Chr 2 3.1 cMs 225 SNPs Chr 4 7.3 cMs. 479 SNPs Chr 5 3.2 cMs 255 SNPs Chr 12 3.1 cMs 270 SNPs Total Half-Match segments 16.7 cM (.464%) 421029 SNPs used for the comparison 52.422% SNPs are full identical
Small but a match.
Anyway, please let me know if you are connect to the Thomas Bell Davidson line. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Thanks and Happy New Year!
Barbara Davidson Norkus
P.S. I did see you tree information and noticed you also had a Turner in your line. I don't understand the DNA results enough to know, but my grandmother (Uncle LJ's mother) was a Turner; so, that may actually be the connection. Hopefully, someone can tell by looking at the results.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Since you've been with WikiTree for a few weeks, I wanted to check in and see how you were doing. The New Member How-To's are available for you to look through if you would like. I hope you find them helpful. If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, don't hesitate to ask. Click on my name above and ask in the comment section of my page.

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)
