I wasn't sure about this entry about her flight from Germany, and her name being Dorothy L Dawson, Sgt, until her Find A Grave profile became available on Family Search. The cremains of this veteran were never claimed by family members but were interred on Memorial Day, May 25, 2015, through the work of the Missing In America Project. More research lead me to the her marriage to Robert M. Stratton; from the obituary of her father, Arthur Laton Lyon (1867-1955). An anonymous person sent me copies of the newspaper article and her obituary. See "Images".
