Biography

Richard was baptized on Jul 18, 1613, at High Ongar, Essex, England[1] He died young; although his death and place of burial are not known, a second brother, Richard Lyman II, what is termed a "replacement child," named for a dead older sibling, was baptized in High Ongar on February 24, 1618[2], so we conclude that the child Richard Lyman 1 died before that date.
