Known as Irene Rich, she was a film star of the silent and early talkie era.[1] She also had a radio program in the 1930s. She was spokeswoman for Welch's Grape Juice which was touted as a diet aid. [2]

Irene (age 17), daughter of William M Luther & Mabel A Robinson, married Elva E Deffenbaugh (age 24) on 17 February 1909 in Spokane, Spokane, Washington, United States.[4]
She passed away in 1988 on April 22, 1988, at age 96 in California. [5][3]
