Harry Lush son of labourer George Lush and his wife, Amelia Dyke, was born at Alverstoke in Hampshire about 1880. ^[1]

In 1903 at Alverstoke he married Ethel Cox ^[2]

By 1911 they were living at 40 Zetland Rd in Gosport with four children.^[3]
