Hi Marcia,

Just a quick note. BCE profiles aren't allowed on WikiTree. You might have seen some and thought you could add family but we're in the process of deleting the BCE profiles or redirecting them to Wikipedia when there's an appropriate article to redirect too. Please don't create any more BCE profiles. Thanks!

Marcia, For the duplicates you created I proposed merges and you completed the merges. But each of those profiles already existed on WikiTree. Each was an orphan you could have adopted. Instead you created additional profiles that needed to be merged. Please check before you create a new profile to make sure that it doesn't already exist on WikiTree. Thanks!

Hi ,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
