Biography

Joseph Low was born in Peterborough, Northamptonshire, England.

In 1871, Joseph was living in Burton Agnes with his family. His age is given as 39 and he is employed as a Brickmaker ^[1]

In the 1891 census, Joseph is still living in Burton Agnes, East Riding, Yorkshire. He is 59 years of age and widowed. He is still working as a Brickmaker ^[2]

Research notes

I haven't been able to source any records for his birth, he appears in Burton Agnes in 1861 titled Joseph Law, 1871 he becomes Low and thereafter Lowe. All baptism records for his children are listed as Low. He states he is from Peterborough although there is nothing to confirm this.
