Biography
Sarah Elizabeth Lovell, the daughter of William Lovell (1813-1908) and Eliza G. Reeves (1820-1883), was born 11 March 1840, North Carolina, died 6 April 1921, Washington. She was the third wife of James Madison Adams, they married on 31 July 1909, Ashtabula, Ohio. (marriage license shows James was widowed, and Sarah was divorced.)[1] Although it appears that James was also divorced, since his second wife didn't die until 1941.
