Biography

Zara was born to Petra's Louw and his wife, Catrina du Bois. She was baptized 1734 August 4th with Zymen van Wagening and Zara du Bois as witnesses ^[1].

Sara was married 1760 June 15th to Petrus Van Wagenen of Wagendal, as recorded at the church in Kingston ^[2]. Their children are Jonathan ^[3], Daniel ^[4], Ezechiel ^[5], Levi ^[6], Catharina ^[7], Lucas ^[8], Maria ^[9], Aert ^[10], and Sara ^[11].

At the church in New Paltz Sara witnessed the baptisms of her niece (?), Sara Bovier ^[12], Mareytie Freer ^[13], her nephew, Daniel Louw ^[14], and Petrus Schoonmaker ^[15].

At the age of about 45-46 Sara died 1780, in New Paltz, Ulster, New York, United States.
