Walter married Jeannette "Jennie" Brown Cameron in 1910. The couple did not have children of their own, but they were fostering children in Milton, Massachusetts at the time of the 1930 U.S. Census. Jennie died in 1944.

Walter's death date is based on a Social Security record.
Walter's wife was Jennie Cameron. She was the daughter of James from Massachusetts and Marguerite (?Reterford/Cameron/McLean who was born in Nova Scotia. Marguerite was married to Thomas Augustus Marble (abt.1848-1914).[1].
The Walter E Loud who died in 1953 in was not this Walter. That man was a violinist.
