Barbara (Lothrop) Emerson immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).

Barbara was born in 1619. [1]She was the daughter of John Lathrop and Hannah House.

  • John Lothrop made a will on August 19, 1653. In this will he specifically mentioned his sons, Thomas, John and Benjamin as well as two daughters, Jane and Barbara.[5][6]
